Zen Focus is provided free of charge, with no account or sign-up required. It's a keyboard-first task matrix with two modes — a terminal-style Focus (Yang) view and a single-intention Peace (Yin) view — entirely in your browser.
Use Zen Focus the way it's intended to be used. In particular, don't:
This is different from a typical calculator, so it's worth being direct about it. Your tasks and archive are stored only in this browser's local storage, with no account, no server, and no sync. That means: clearing your browser data, switching devices, using a different browser, or a browser/OS reinstall will permanently erase everything, with no way for us to recover it — we never had a copy to begin with. If you're tracking anything you can't afford to lose, keep a copy somewhere else too. Don't treat Zen Focus as your sole system of record for anything important.
Zen Focus is built to support two ad slots served through an ad network, currently inactive. If activated, ads are subject to that network's own advertising policies in addition to these terms. See our Privacy Policy for more detail on how that would work.
Zen Focus is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zen Focus and its creators aren't liable for any damages — direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, including any data loss.
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of Zen Focus after a change means you accept the updated terms. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
